Voices In The Voices

I'm hearing voices in the voices
One feeling soothing and alive
While the other is angry and alone
Each one leads me down a different path

You should turn your back and run
Be alone like you used to be
You were stronger then than now
You didn't put up with anything

No you should stay by her side
You may have been stronger then
But when you're together with her
You have no equal when it comes to will

Lash out at the world that hates you
Call their oh so obvious bluffs
Prove that you haven't gone soft
That the storm is back and stronger

Be the bigger man in this world
Never stop helping people who need it
You know it makes you feel so alive
To know that you won't give in

Oh please you know that's stupid
You know every day is a war
That only the strong will survive
So throw the first punch and end it

Never turn your back on the world
Even though it loathes and beats you
You know there are those who care
You know you can't give up for those people

I'm hearing voices in the voices
Telling me how to live my life
Each one making a good arguement
But what if I follow both at the same time
