Trying To Find My Way.

by Daphne Darling   Jun 19, 2004

Trying to find my way,
Trying to find a way,
Through the darkened maze,
For which is my loathsome life,
Trapped at the centre,
Tears dripping down,
I am trying to find my way,
Trying to find a way,
Out of this maze I built,
But still I cannot,
It is so hard,
To find my way,
To find a way,
Out of the darkened maze,
That is all my loathing hate,
Making the mistakes,
I promised you I wouldn’t,
Wondering through this,
The haunted maze,
Of my loathsome life,
Trying to find my way,
Trying to find a way,
Out of this maze I built,
I built out of my thoughts,
The darkened corridors,
Making it even harder,
To find my way,
To find a way,
Out of here,
Loathing the torment of this life,
All I have put myself through,
Just to get the way I want,
Turning all the wrong,
Corners,
Making all the wrong,
Choices,
Doing all the wrong,
Deeds,
But still wanting,
To make it all right again,
To put the smile back in place,
To have the blood cleared up,
But I am still trying,
Trying to find my way,
Trying to find a way,
Out of these darkened corridors,
That makes up the black and dismal maze,
Of my loathsome life,
But yet another day passes,
For yet another cut,
But yet another week passes,
For yet another scare,
Hating one person above all,
Wishing they were dead,
I hate you more than life,
And I would kill you,
But if it were not for the fact,
That you are me,
I am trying to find my way,
I am trying to find a way,
Out of the darkened corridors,
Of the black and dismal maze,
That is my loathsome life,
Loathing myself more every day,
But still striving,
For my way,
For a way,
Out of the darkened corridors,
Of the black and dismal maze,
That is my loathsome life.
