My Own Kind Of Way

by Jennifer Fox or Jackson   Jun 19, 2004

As a tear rolls from my eye
I silently begin to cry
Not understanding the way I feel
the world begins to turn its wheel.
Unable to follow it's pace
my life begins its costly waste
Trying not to let time go on that way
I carry on into each new day.
Making things better then ever
I become even more so clever
Smarting up my ways
I begin to give some praise.
Happy as never before
I begin to scratch the Earths core
Without any kind of price to pay
I begin to follow my own kind of way.
