The truth

by Mae   Nov 29, 2010

I once was your trophy
with a radiant smile as you held me on your arm
but now I am nothing
but a shredded memory
and a woman now called "mom"
the other side wasn't greener
it was dark and cold and weak
and with a few scars and bruises
i stand straight up to speak
I wish I could say i'm sorry
maybe some way i can
but I don't regret my children
they were a part of gods plan
you see everything happens for a reason
i find that to be true
but why in this world did it happen this way...?
why is it missing you??
