Lust, Love, Desire

These words describe

everything that is me

everything I imbibe

It makes me think of you

You cause all these emotions

that my heart knows not what to do with

Oh, what are these notions?

This is my past, present, and future

I will always love you

even when we are both long gone

Hopefully, you will love me too.

But that is to be determined

because you have not uttered

those words as of yet

your mind stays uncluttered

The thoughts going through my head

are not the same as what's going through yours

I can see it in your eyes that you're confused

Your heart, above your head, soars

Trying to figure out

what this blissful feeling is

You yourself don't know

what it is that you miss

What you're missing is love
