When You're Done Being Beautiful and Young

by Sunshine   Dec 2, 2010

When YOU;

no longer search for perfumes
amid green scenes of fresh gardens.
My arid lands will be planting colorful forests
for your spirit to inhale life endlessly .

The day your feet tire and no longer run
behind escaping clouds.
The horizons I have been praising for you;
will be waiting.

If mirrors ever stopped reflecting your beauty
my eyes will be all yours to see,
your immortal elegance through me.

When they no longer kiss your hips with honey
coated lips,
when they no longer call your name softly,
or run behind your seductive voice.
When men are tired chasing your womanly
waved waists.

Just whisper my name, for I am always there.

I have always been waiting for the day
you get done being beautiful and young.
As you realize that beauty revives
immortally through the eyes of the lovers.
That people never get old when they chase bitter truths rather than chasing masked up lies.

Anxiously I shall still wait for you to fall
over my mysterious arid lands;
only "When You're Done Being Beautiful

and Young"

----------------------------------------------
>yes I capitalized (YOU) on purpose.
