Sometimes, knowing the person behind the words adds to the meaning of the poem..and it does, very much so in this verse. |

A really neat poem with an interesting message behind it. I love the way you tell this poem and like Ingrid said this "baby duck" should be able to see beyond the bleakness of the nights as long as you are able to unveil the sky. Anyway the poem was really good. The flow of the poem is astounding and I was captivated from the very fist line to the last. There were many emotions in this poem and I liked all of them. All in all, I found this a very beautiful poem expressing one's feelings about another. Great job and keep writing. |

Beautiful poem, TJ! My thoughts echo that of Ingrid and Jad. Your compassion to bring hope and light to this "baby duck" is very strong. |

A powerful message in your words. The world can be a daunting place of us, confusion can cloud our judgment, makes us wonder if things will ever be right. If we remember to stay strong, things will work out. Well done as usual. |
Hey TJ!! |
I loved the title but was surprised when I read it. What a beautiful poem, it's compassionate and yet a deep sadness is hidden in these words |
Wow wow wow I absolutely love ur work and u could become a famous poet 20 stars :) :) 5/5 |
This is a beautiful poem (: |
I really like this brother. From the moment I read the title, somehow I knew that theres more to it than the simple title, and I was right, lol. Anyways, the whole poem is a real treat to read, this is what I look for in a poem, a touch of sadness yet doesnt drown the reader in gloom and complicated words. All in all, awesome poem brother. |

This piece is fabulous. The description and imagery are marvelous. Though the piece is short, it starts off incredibly and uses the perfect words to create a story. I am deffinatly a fan of this piece, and excellent job. 5/5 |

I didn't realise back then how well you knew this baby duck. What a sorry bird hey :) A lot has changed, her wings have spread out confidently and she has been lifted off the ground. She opens her eyes, her heart, she smiles, and even takes risks :) Thank you for keeping this |
