When you left

Poem

The rain pours down slow
But my tears come fast
I wish my pain didn't show
And if I could just forget the past

You promised me forever your heart
That there was no other like me you could find
And so you had set me apart
So why did you change your mind?

Your eyes were as cold as stone
The day you told me to move on
Your true colors that day shown
And before I knew it you were gone

This feeling in my stomach never leaves
And I don't know how to make it go away
You are no more than a light breeze
For giving u my heart this is the price I pay
