Tell Me What's Become Of Us?

by Infinite*   Jun 19, 2004

The world is not like yesterday,
The world is shredded into scrap,
I ask you what's become of us?
When a child can't sit on Santa's lap.

The world is not like yesterday,
A person's mind no longer free,
I ask you what's become of us?
When people are ruled by democracy.

The world is not like yesterday,
Security has gone insane,
I ask you what's become of us?
When you can't take tweezers on a plane.

The world is not like yesterday,
The sun no longer safe for man,
I ask you what's become of us?
When 'I'll die' if I try to get a tan.

The world is not like yesterday,
Religion is the heart of war,
I ask you what's become of us?
When 'love thy neighbour' means no more.

Whoa. That's so true, I havent really thought about it up until I just read that. It's very well-written, and you need a lovely job on explaining everything.

    Once again, Nice job!
