Humans & Flowers

by OrangeJuicePerez   Dec 8, 2010

Stems bare resemblance to bones.
Both hold crucial parts together.
Without connections to stems and bones, petals and flesh are useless.
They would lay withered; living barely on the loose end.
Left astray; equipped with no power to deter hurt.
What wonders to just let vanish as if they were tricks of wonder.
Bones and stems need to present their purpose and reason.
To put the pieces needed for the puzzle scene to be considered scenic.
Because without petals, a flower is simply a stem.
And with no flesh, a human turns to bones; becoming dead.
But a bind between what without each other would mean atrociousness;
creates life that blossoms into adoring bliss.

    This is beautifully written. I like this line" Because without petals, a flower is simply a stem." I like the way you compare a living flower with human -being. You did exceptionally good. Well done, kel.
