id work on flow and how things fit together a little bit more, like now im wondering if the mother is okay, and who captured him and how all this other stuff.

You have nice words hun. Deep emotions powerful owrds. Good diction. But I wouldn't call this a poem. More of a story. I'd think about making your lines shorter. Look at some other poets on the site and see how they word their poems and how the syntax is. That would help you with your pieces. Keep writing though. Nik
