I broke my leg
the other day
and then I broke
my other leg.
I splintered my
arms and snapped
my ribs. I popped
my vertebrae
apart, one by one
by one by one and
I liked that.
Finally I broke my
neck. There I was
a puddle of skin and guts
still thinking of you.
And I've got to say
writing this poem
didn't help at all.
