Normally I don't care for verses repeated but in this case, absolutely a must. A write full of depth , intense emotion . The flow is smooth with no flaws, excellent

I agree with TJ, the flow is good, easy to read and I found myself almost singing the words. Full of sadness, maybe a love affair gone bad, a death of some sort, gives the reader some options. I hope you friend Jimmie enjoyed it as much as I did.

This poem does seem dark and sad, but that is what I love about it. Amazing work, as always. Now I really wish I could here the melody to this. lol. :)
