Athazagora (pt 1) - her voice subsides

by mckenzie   Dec 12, 2010

Suffer again... is there no end?
a vision of red and my eyes cant see
no longer left to travel
the road that left me hollow

lift my wrists and give you this dagger
or will you aim for the heart?
(it never mattered anyway)

screaming again... have i your attention?
a sound of sorrow but not in your voice
cause i don't believe
anything you have left to say

when im down on my knees
wasting away before you
(i never mattered anyway)

Wow this is a powerful poem!
You created alot of meaningful imagery
I can relate to this! When life breaks you down and makes you hollow inside you feel like no one cares or that you never mattered... Very strong emotions!
    5/5
