This poem was simply amazing. Your descriptions alone could be talked about forever but for sake of time I won't do that. But I will say they were very helpful in being able to visualize the scene and also giving clarity. There were many emotions in this piece and they each spoke differently. The one I got the most was an awe respect for this ocean, a deep passion. The flow was right on and I don't think it messed up in any line or stanza.

"She sits still as centuries gone by
    without rippling beneath
    gleaming golden starlight,
though the wind brushes against her
    deep blue skin,
    sleek as midnight satin."

This was my favorite line as it gave such beautiful descriptions on everything around the writer or there imagination. Your usage of words and how you are able to put them is incredible and I am mesmerized with how they hide deep meaning.

All in all, this was a great piece. It wasn't too short and it wasn't too long. I found it to be just the right size. This poem does give the ocean a great tribute. Great job and keep writing.
