    Nitin
it has been so long since I have got to read one of your beautiful verses. Congrats for getting a first place in the site contest with this piece.
It holds so much emotion and sadness.

    Far behind this endless fall
    We breathe with our memories
    With plastic smiles painted on
So much sadness yet to release

So many of us hold sadness in our hearts yet pretend like everything is fine. You have captured this in your last stanza.
    excellent job!
    Love you yaar

This poem is so true. We always pretend like everything is okay, but inside we are crying our pains and hopes. Each verse spoke its meaning and they all flowed really good. The emotions as already stated is powerful and heartbreaking when one thinks about all the fake smiles we put on our face. In all I found this to be a thought provoking piece that shows us we are not always okay on the surface though all appears well. Great job and keep writing.

I think the commenters have said it all. We pretend is everything is okay, smile to the world, all the while the pain inside is tremendous but we continue to hide it.

    "Behind the darkness of light
    Breathes a creature of memories
    Wearing away normal thoughts
Hiding your soul's pain with ease".

This poem caught my eyes. How can we sometimes search for a selective mind when our souls need rest. Sometimes we convinced ourselves that we will get over it, but as soon as the light turns into darkness, then all pains came to the surface.

    "Evil eyes, bring haunted dreams
    Echos promised eternity
    With arms capturing broken hearts
    Embracing our serenity".

Oh my goodness what beautiful stanza. Sad, yet deep within hides it's beauty. Sometimes a simple gaze transform into sword and hurt us deep within.

"All it takes is one divine kiss
    Bringing those tortured fears back
Trapping you within your own mind
Until every vein burns and cracks".

Sometimes we need to emancipate our ownself, but it is easier to say than done. But when we embrace the good we find the force to conquer all negitivity.

    "Far behind this endless fall
    We breathe with our memories
    With plastic smiles painted on
So much sadness yet to release ."

This says so much. Every happy faces is not smiling from the heart. We sometimes shows what we want to the exterior world, but as soon as we get to our cocoon, we drop that mask and let the tears flow. Very good write. One of the poems i read so far this year that caught almost all my attention. Well done, kel.

Exquisite poem. It brings much to the table.

The darkness of light, because light blinds us to reality, plays out the illusion of Maya.

Memories rob us of the present, keeping us distracted, lulling us, trapped in this world.

Lure us with eternity, convince us to keep pushing the wheel, samsara, while eating the lotus.

The kiss of the divine is two-bladed: makes the experience become 'important' and ensnares us again into our personal lives, yet, it reminds us there are other paths. Unfortunately, we are so fevered with the intensity of presence, that Moksha is delayed yet again.

5/5 (which is ironic in itself)
