This girl has hit the bottom
And cant seem to surface again
She tried to take her life already
But something went wrong
They forced her to live on
With more pain than before
They all think this girl is doing well
But there is a lot going on underneath
She is struggling with herself
Sobbing in her bed late at night
She doesn't have the strength inside her
She's not as strong as they all want
That dangerous idea lingers
Becoming more tempting each day
She wants to reach out for help
But doesn't know how to ask
So she decides to do it again
She swallows more pills this time
Then she grabs the knife
And drags it deep across her wrist
As she gives into the sleep
She feels that she has done it right
Crimson blood drops from her fingers
As her eye lids slip shut
Memories swim though her mind
And she feels her life slip away
This girl lost herself in the sadness
And she saw no other escape
She gave the world everything she had
But never got anything back
