Happiness...

by A Poets Handwriting aka ALISHA   Dec 16, 2010

Days could never end when you were around,
Even music, such a joy, could not make a sound.
You were the happiness in my life, in my air.
I could do anything, as long as you were there.

The weather was always clear, the sun a must.
Nothing ever withered, nothing could ever rust.
Flowers would bloom bright, birds would flutter.
The stars shone at night, hearts melt like butter.

But then one day, the weather just turned grey.
I knew something was wrong straight away.
The leaves began to fall; rain began to roll in.
The smiles all faded, the world began to spin.

Darkness spread across the sky; rain poured down.
Fear spread across the world, people began to frown.
Something was wrong; the world had begun to cry.
This day was the day which you, Happiness, died...
