Stolen happiness

by Jayc   Dec 21, 2010

In my life there's no one like you,
No one makes me feel being loved,
No one understand, who and what i am,
No other else but you.

Lasting friendship we both shared
shall we now be made to part?
though moments of past, those were meant to last,
still sing here in my heart.

Will somebody take your place
to comfort me when you're away?
through hours of despair, should someone care,
Oh why don't you just stay.

Must your final vows exchange
be with him and not with me?
Were you only here, to quiet my fear,
but now I must set you free...

were you only here, and quiet my fear
but i must set you free...

(i dedicate this poem to Sheila, the girl of my dreams. and my ever dearest friend, who wrote the poem "Important to me" for me, i just discovered that she's already getting married.)
(this poem is now an acoustic song i composed) i'll post it soon on youtube.)

(special thanks to tearful teenager and to beverlyn for inspiring to write again.)
