Charcoal Waves

by kelleyana   Dec 21, 2010

Gazing at the charcoal waves, brings melancholies to my mind. Trapped in a web filled with black and grey, thinking no sun will shine in my day. Which happy life had never seen clouds of grey? Those words often came my way.

Through the dark there came a star that shines on my heart, showing me the fine lines between darkness and light. Closing my eyes slowly it feels as if you are by my side, and all those feeling kept deep within, I can no longer hide. My mind fades off into a blissful place where memories of you can never be erased.

Thoughts of you cascade through my mind like rain, each drops filled with an image of you which all lands into a puddle Portraying those wonderful time we share. I cried to the sky for you to hear me, cause without you, I can't be me.

How long can we pretend to go our ways, when our minds seek each other every minutes of the day? We cannot change the thing that already went wrong, but from our wrongs we learn what's right.

No matter where I go in my heart you will stay because you are the light to my darkest day.
