Boggling

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 1, 2011

My mouth hovers over this keyboard,
dissecting a hidden keynote
capable of reading lines from my soul.
Not this time, I need to stop walking
across a telephone wire that is already
too thin to hold my ambitious weight.
I have much more I want to get done
and these headsets are the start,
I'll listen while I snack and then maybe
I can start directing the hints of light
that bounce back in the mirror.
