Prelude to Winter

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 3, 2011

Let grass slumber and trees sleep
Down where the willows weep
The lively fields have had their day
All the flowers have gone away
Soon a blanket will cover the land
Because a new season is at hand
Many creatures must get bolder
As the winds will get much colder
Purifying the waters of rebirth
Everywhere north on this planet earth

I can see you like rhyming, which is good, just watch out and try not to make forced rhymes.
