Sinking

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 3, 2011

My ship has split to splinters
It may sink in the sea fast
If I see many more winters
Be sure that the best has past

There is a soul in my vessel
Hope it does not ever drown
It is certain it will wrestle
However I shall go down

Pray it rises up again
Let my vapor somehow float
Above the passion within
An old hollow empty boat

Nice write with good imagery, but I would've liked to see punctuation.
