Her eyes fill with tears
As she recalls how much she lost
They spill down her cheeks
Landing in her lap with grace

She let's herself re-live that pain
She needs to grieve for that lose
But she was foolish
Her heart was broken twice
By two different men
In less than 8 months
She pieced herself back together
But she is forever wary now
She was too giving
So she got used and thrown aside
She lost herself under all this
Became a ghost of herself
That's when it spiraled out of control
That's when she lost her perfect life
So now she sits down there
Taking tiny steps each day
Sometimes she falls back with her tears
Sometimes she is amazingly strong
Her life has hit rock bottom
But now she is determined
