A Friend

by Forris Watkins   Jan 5, 2011

When nothing that we discuss goes beyond us, between us two there is a boundary that is an understatement to the word trust.. We stand back to back and side by side, for me you will, and for you I ride, we walk together in stride, moving at the same pace, they hate because of the humble look on our face.. Like the support of a brace, we stand tall and rigid.. We verbally kill people, words frozen and frigid.. A Friend.. Before you even say it, I know what you're thinking, I'll handle business for you without even blinking.. A Friend.. We go thru it together whether absent or present, I'll serve you like times were medieval, you could call me a peasant, my heart as your present, gift wrapped in GOLD, ride or die til the end, as we refuse to fold.. "A FRIEND...."
