The wind

by Rick5191   Jan 7, 2011

The wind.

What is the wind to me?
a loving spirit totally free.

I think I share its affinity.

Is it something I could never be?
Or maybe it was meant for me
and all the others
who love to be free.

The wind is love.

don't take it for granted
or dearly you will pay.
In pain, destroying everything in it's way.
you've seen it yourself, no need for me to say.

Whenever I feel it I look to the sky.
And in Joy,
I begin to cry.

For I love the wind
because it mends all hearts.
And if two speak to the wind,
They'll never be apart.

You give me less reason to hate my bitter wind. I shall have to re-evaluate its meaning to me. Good work.
