Hurting Too

by Some Random Human   Jan 10, 2011

Well, now it's over,
but I'm still waiting by the phone,
the weather's colder,
and there's no warmth since you've been gone,
where's your shoulder,
'cause I've been crying on my own,
or a four leaf clover,
'cause I'll need some luck to carry on,

I get so lonely, and I swear I'm not okay,
but it's only, only just another day,
the world keeps moving, even though I'm missing you,
and there's no proving, that you're even hurting too,

Now I'm feeling beat,
and I know that it has shown,
bitter defeat,
as I slowly come undone,
I should retreat,
but I could use a backbone,
or rabbit's feet,
'cause when it comes to luck, I've got none,

I get so lonely, and I swear I'm not okay,
but it's only, only just another day,
the world keeps moving, even though I'm missing you,
and there's no proving, that you're even hurting too,

So you're leaving,
despite the fit that I have thrown,
and now I'm grieving,
once again, it's a rerun,
but I'm not believing,
all these things that you've made known,
it's just self-deceiving,
but I feel I'll be the lucky one,

I get so lonely, and I swear I'm not okay,
but it's only, only just another day,
the world keeps moving, even though I'm missing you,
and there's no proving, that you're even hurting too,

I get so lonely, and I swear I'm not okay,
but it's only, only just another day,
the world keeps moving, even though I'm missing you,
and there's no proving, that you're even hurting too,
are you even hurting too,
no, you're not even hurting too...
