Street lights are dancing with the stars tonight

by Marcus blake   Jan 11, 2011

Paired lights, dim-ed streets
The hollow and quint year
The beginning of everlasting
The taste of youth was bitter
Frozen alleys, cold books lead us nowhere
"It's cold" like century's before us
Colliding hearts smash outside
The rotting decay of people's "feelings"
Lay waste...
Happiness is abound pitiful creatures we become at night
"It's dark"
But lights glimmer somehow
Street lights are dancing with the stars
Shadows are feasting on dreams
The night sky is kissing the moon
The air is swallowing constant laughter
Fading spirits are drifting in the clouds
Far, far away...
These lights open gates to enchantment
To torture
they allow the night to devour you
Change you, control you
The world shifts as the sky sinks to blue
When colors lose there meaning
When things end to soon...
