Remembrance

by Beautiful Chaos   Jan 12, 2011

In the beauty of morning light
Dew dripped softly from leaves
A subtle sparkle, reminding me
Of your fading eyes

The softness, brilliance
Of Springs crimson petals
Cried of your lips
Rebirth found in their touch

The thriving world outside my window
Spoke of you in waves of illusion
Washing over me
Drowning me in recollection

You are here in everything, yet nothing
A lost dream that flies
Soaring away
Wings grasping freedom

Once in a while seasons are kind
Returning you to me
Reminding me, once I loved
Taunting me not to give up
