Fear

by GorqeousDisaster   Jan 14, 2011

As fear creeps threw me,
lodging its self into my
mind, taking over my will to speak.
Disabling me to catch my breath.
Sending me into a phase I'm not sure
is breakable. the say it will pass in time,
but have they meet this yet?
The inevitable human downfall,
to risk , and to loose.
The feeling that if something could go wrong.
It surely will.
The small voice in the back of your mind ,
that tells you to run, when all senses fail.
And you can do nothing but stand their frozen
watching life go by in sudden little movements.
Every moment you blink, you forget what just happened.
Realizing everything that you fear, is now coming
to life, bigger and badder than ever before,
as if life is almost taunting you.
Showing you something and holding
it right above your reach, as your arms are extended out. Finger tips barley touching reality,
that yes, this is right here.
It snatches it away, every step forward you seem
to take three back,
tip toeing on deaths bed.
And your favorite poison just now making it
into your blood stream.
And silence takes over as you try to fall asleep at night.
infecting your head with what ifs and could have beens.
Sad words you wish you could have said,
and things you wish you could take back.
Simple thoughts ,with an intricate mind.
Fast forward, just to hit rewind.
