At least we didn't sleep together;
you and I--no. We know better.
It was a daze, more like a dream,
it was untouchable: beauty, steam.
We lay awake, running from sleep!
almost a trance, ever so deep.
A night covered in stars--like darts;
they punctured love into our hearts.
Though restless, you filled me with ease.
In the sheepish moonlight, we found peace.
Unable to focus, I snuck a kiss,
no night more wonderful--than this.
