OnLy i know me

Everyone judges as if they know who I am
As if they know what I say and do behind the scenes
But do they know whats inside?
Do they know the real me?

They judge me by what they see
And they do the labeling
Their words bring me down so low
But do they even know?

Do they know of the nights I cry myself to sleep
Wondering why I am not accepted by those who mean the world to me?
Do they know of the tears that I have shed
For the one guy who got into my heart and head?

Do they know of the walls I try to build so tall
So no one and nothing can ever bring me low?
Do they know of the times I wished he would stay
Only to have him turn and walk away?

Do they know of the friends who have pinky promised
And then left my life as if easily forgotten?
Do they know of the blade I keep
That I use to cut me so deep?

The answer is that they do not know
Only I know my failures, my flaws, my faults
So do not pretend you do
Keep your judgements, your looks, and your fingers to you.
