Aging (Diatelle)

by Chelsey   Jan 19, 2011

A diatelle is 15 lines with a rhyme scheme of abbcbccaccbcbba. And a syllable count of 1, 2,3,4,6,8,10,12,10,8,6,4,3,2,1

Gray
Your hair
It's not fair
As life flies bye
You age and just don't care
As you self destruct I do cry
Because life caught up to you and you'll die
I go to the cemetery where you will lay
I think when your body lifts to the sky
Will you be nervous; scared to fly?
What happens once your there?
Will God deny
Your welfare
Prepare
Decay

An excellent write. I enjoyed it from start to end. I do not have any critique to offer you here all I can say is keep doing what your doing.
