Gilded Dreams

by trippetta TC   Jan 22, 2011

Her hair like gilded feathers,
Beauty unrivaled eyes like the Cerulean Sea
Hand in hand we walked together
Through an enchanted garden of hyacinth and heliotrope
A crown of laurel leaves upon her soft brow
Wearing a gown of ivy and chrysanthemums
in a fine webbing of mortal seams
Childlike simplicity leads her to a swing of stars
Cold no more, she sprinkles stardust
upon the dreamers below
Dispelling nightmares stronghold from the weary suffrage
Of those left behind
And with sweet words she sings a melody most pure
to ease the troubled minds

Absolutely beautiful wording, it's on-point and encompasses a lot of imagery. I loved it, it's breathtaking.
