Sweet Memories of Love (sonnet)

Love can be such an amazing feeling,
It takes you to a loving, special place.
When I'm in love, I can touch the ceiling,
'Cause nothing wipes the smile off my face.

Sweet memories of love, I can't forget,
The morning sun lighting up my smile.
My smile won't fade as the sun will set,
True, deep love is longer than a mile.

The greatest feeling I could ever feel,
I am as joyful as a sweet princess.
I just hope that I find love that is real,
Love from he who could give me happiness.

Although I can't wait to find my lover,
I will wait so we can be forever.

    amazing poem with so much love..

    this was my favorite stanza..but I think I will rate this as 5/5..just take off the capitalization at the beginning of each single line.

    I loved this too. We all feel like this at times. People hate to admit it, but when they are in love they are cheesy. It doesn't matter who you are. I didn't think any of it was cheesy, I thought it expressed true emotion and was awesome. Cause I too am a hopeless romantic. Great job! I know how you feel. lol. :)

    I figured people, especially Nano lol, would have a lot to change because some of the rhymes didnt really rhyme and and the whole poem was a bit cliche' but I happen to LOVE cliche because I'm a hopeless romantic and love poems like this :)
    i'd say 4/5 doll! I enjoyed it!
