Like the flowing river

Hello! I really enjoyed your poetry. I could easily imagine following the poem visually, with each stanza becoming a continuation of the previous scene rather than treating them as separate moments.

"This river reeks of shameful impurities -
stretching; contorting snake strangles land.
The drinkers suffering by the watery hand,
once, these waters gave great gratuity."

^^^ Wow! I'm not really sure where to start. I enjoyed the vocabulary. You chose all the right words in all the right places. The rhyming you added in, not awkward at all. Also " contorting snake strangles land." I really liked that.

"Born from the mountains so fresh,
it's strong flowing blue; so proud it'd stand.
Met its poisons, a touch of human hand,
once, these waters knew not cruelty."

^^^ I must say, this stanza is my favorite. The words you chose are amazing, they read very well, and flow nicely too.
