Catastrophe

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 30, 2011

Is it me, or is something cattywampus about this.
Tea for two and I am feeling so very all alone.
Knew it was coming, but it is the socials I miss.
No one visits, they just call on the phone

I grow weary of the dogma in the catechism
Socialistic parties can't see conservative views
Everyone is accused of Marxist communism
They let the cat out of the bag on the news

Won't you have a cup of tea with me
I am not a political activist at all
The catnip is in the cupboard you see
I am so happy that you all came to call

It is fashionable to be fancy free
Even though I am an American pussy
Pussy footing around is a catastrophe
Don't ask and I won't tell you I'm a wussy

How can we all be politically correct
We all know how the mice love to play
I have this beautiful house to protect
I love to relax at the end of the day
