Thought it was different

From the start I was told there will be no lies
The truth would be out in the open not hidden,
Yet if this is true.....
Then why is it that I find out that the words seaping out your mouth are lies?

I fell in love with a person who would always tell me what it really is,
Not a story that has me pondering on,if its reality!

You where the apple of my eye until I found out the truth,you say its your homies ex;
When in reality its yours!

Now im more cautious to what's being said because I don't want to get hurt,I don't know what else your lying to me about,nor do I want to know....

But the truth is,if I find out your cheating or doing me dirty,im gone;
No second chances,im trying to give you all that I am....
