I really love nature poems and this one really was touching. You took the aspect of nature and acted like you were the tree and described how it would be through all the years of your life. The poem held some good imagery and I really like the simplicity of the poem. There were also some emotions of sadness and also hope in the verses which made the poem seem more real. |

Thanks for writing about a willow tree. I had haven't seen one in years and this brought back memories of those trees I saw as a child. You gave a voice to the tree, brought it to life. Well done. |

I really liked this read Cindy. You bring out |
Some great imagery here of this willow tree, I liked the perspective you wrote it from. It's always interesting to put yourself in the shoes of a tree, perhaps sometimes maybe it resembles yourself and your life as I know you've been through so much. I loved the idea of the branches sweeping the ground, definitely emphasizes the willow tree weeping yet a sense of hope in a way as a new tree is planted, yes? Kind of like a second chance. That's how I saw your ending to be. Excellent, thought out poem :) |

What a lovely poem, Cindy - one I would have loved to have written. Those trees really must see some things...... |
