Christmas

by Whitney Graham   Feb 9, 2011

Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
Snow falling, hearts calling.
No better time to love.
Beautiful lights stringed here and there.
Christmas trees can be seen
In every frosted window.
It’s all a winter wonderland.
Smiles are seen on everyone’s face.
The smell of burning wood;
And the warmth radiating from the fire.
I can’t soak it in all at once.
Who would want to?
Presents stuffed under the tree.
Children waiting patiently
To tear open each gift.
Christmas is the best time of year.
