Fallen

by Whitney Graham   Feb 9, 2011

My crystal heart began to break
While I watched you make the same mistake.
You were slowly falling from grace
With broken wings and a shadowed face.
You were slipping away.
Blackness is where you now lay.
Say goodbye to your happy ending.
Now I know you were never pretending.
It want ever be the same.
I’m the only one to blame.
Your river of tears flows in me.
Your road of memories is all I can see.

I really liked this poem, it flowed so gracefully. You have a lot of talent. My only suggestion would be to make it a bit longer. But I hope to read more from you. 5.5
