Lacking

I believe in darkness,
as the lack of light.
I believe in coldness,
as the lack of warmth.

My body is hollow,
cold and dark.
I thought I felt emptiness before?
Well look at me now.

How does one live
without the 
flow
of blood?
Do tell me how I should listen
and speak.

I believe in emotions
as the lack of feeling.

Who is this monster that lies awake
with tears in the veins,
and has an echo
within the brain?

"I love you."

Is all I believe.
