Lost Inside her Insanity

by Lioness   Feb 15, 2011

Untouched and alone, the girl's mind wonders like a child in the night trying to find her way back home

She experiences pain and suffering, unlike no other. As though one thousand needles pierce through her skin, she screams, wondering if anyone can hear her

She cries, spilling tears like the broken banks of a river during a storm. No one can wipe her tears away so she drowns in her own sorrow

She is oblivious to all that surrounds her. Loneliness is her companion and her fiend. She loses the will to keep fighting for the right to exist in a world other than her own.

She opens her mouth but the words don't come out right. She is alone in a black hole that binds her. A place where no other would ever want to witness

She bleeds in silence. Inconsolable for her lost soul. Lost inside her mind and lost inside her insanity

I really liked this piece. I loved the ending, so true and yet so strong. Bringing up the question can someone really lose themselves within their own insanity. Love it! 5.5
