I have been watching your poems to see as soon as you got a new poem and alas my patience has paid off! :] This poem was really good and I loved the message you were trying to get across in this poem and I also like the story. Two lovers never meant to be together but they make it work anyway or try to and it ends up being a disaster.

I couldn't find one line that really stood out to me as In found that every stanza and line was essential in this poem to make it as strong and powerful as it was! Your emotions in this poem are so strong and you can feel the attraction these two people have for each other.

In all, I love this poem from start to finish and I am glad to see that you are writing again. I can't to see some more poems from you. This was a great poem and I find it to have a message that alot of people can relate to today. Great job and keep writing.

I could most definitely feel the anquish and uncertainty (of the relationship )in this write. Makes me so sad. Its not fair to discriminate love based on race, cast or culture.

"Each sunrise, I am found an inch faded
Each dawn, I am less of the whole we make".

These two line hit home for me. Makes me ask myself the question if its worth the wait.

This poetry so easily puts aside the East-West cultural differences by depicting love as the all powerful factor in a relationship. It is so beautifully written that I cannot but help read it over and over again. This piece is probably one of the loveliest piece of all your works, the Kohinoor diamond of the Royal Crown. A beautiful story you have penned here. It's funny how family can say that they want the best for you; but be so quick to cast fire and brimestone. I will not deny, that the thought of a secret love can be very romantic. Only though if both parties choose so. But to have to keep it hidden because of a family's dislike for another is crazy. A wonderful write!
