Where

by what living does   Feb 21, 2011

Where is the light to hold my shadows deep at bay,

Alas I fear it has all but slipped away,

Murky depths no one should ever have know,

My heart is veiled in that darkening glow.

Its hopes and dreams are turned to ash,

Ever since that ancient clash,

Between the light and the immortal dark,

My life lies shattered and ever stark.

When I won this two pronged fight,

My soul was shattered and shards took flight,

The balance lost and beyond renew,

There is nothing left for us to do.

But wait for friends with new found wing,

To aid once more in a great Gathering,

When the cracks shall flow,

And pieces once again do mend,

I shall rejoice to no short end.

I’ll wait deep in darkness dim,

My hopes shall remain, however slim,

That this fight shall be the one I win.
