Life in a day

In the morning of Your life,
You see yourself, hitting that homerun,
Thinking, I'm gonna make mama so proud!
You don't forget, when your young. What's happened,
ANd you don't yet know what will happen.

In the noon of your life, your now a teen.
Struggling to make it through high shcool,
With you zits and frizzy red hair.
You don't care about you softball trophy anymore
You soon forget how much it meant to you back then
Your out chasing boys that will never care about you
Now, you might know what your future holds.

In the afternoon of your life, your a middleaged women.
Working two jobs. Taking care of kids. And cooking dinners
Your done with chasing boys and high school crushs.
Now you worry about your car payments and kids health insurance. You forget all your past accomplishments and achievements.

In the night of your life. Your a eighty eight year old women.
Who looks back at all her pictures. She sees her children, her grandchildren , her spelling bee and softball trophys from third and fifth grade. She thinks to herself, I am loved. I have had a perfect life. Thank you lord, bring me home now.
She falls asleep...to never wake up.
