My Love

by Faith   Feb 25, 2011

On this cold winters night,
When the wind blows the snow
Across the road
Where no man wants to go.
I sit by the window,
Letting all my thoughts fly away
With all of my dreams
Into that whirling array.
Those thoughts of you,
Every single pigment you hold,
That I kept so closely,
Was it all really that bold?
Starring into this blizzard,
Across the road,
Wanting to hold you so close.
Wanting to finally let go.
I know now of the colors in my life
That you helped me to see.
How they've been there all along.
Maybe now you can leave me be.
So I let go of your smile,
And those beautiful green eyes,
That held your deepest secrets.
That held my greatest demise.
They vanish into the white,
Like the snow on a screen.
Never to be seen again.
Even by the most beautiful of green.

I really like these few lines. Its brilliant! This poem is great, I just think that you should divide this poem up into stanzas, to make the flow better, and to make it an eaiser read. But overall great word choice, and great feeling. :)
