Nativity of the Son

by Michael D Nalley   Feb 27, 2011

As the lowly earth spins around the flame
We crave the holy passion that makes us whole
In spirit sun and Son are somewhat the same
Wind and vapor breathes life into a soul

The wheat is bred to make the bread we eat
The sacred wine comes from fruit of the vine
A sacrificial lamb lays at Gods feet
The Spirit binds the Son to the divine

To lose ones self is to find complete love
Natural laws can just share what they give
Temporal life is what I'm speaking of
All must die to return to where we live

What’s lost has been found what’s to come has been
Die to yourself that’s when true life will begin
