Vacant Lot (I'm Sorry)

by Some Random Human   Feb 27, 2011

Well I don't know what to do,
without you, yes it's true,
my world is crumblin' down,
to the ground, it's over now,
'cause you are all I need,
all I breathe, all I see,
but now you have gone away,
so I say, I'm so sorry,

This comes,
straight from,
the vacant lot in my chest,
the spot where my heart used to rest,
since you left,
I've been a mess,
and I must confess,
that I still get depressed,
maybe I'm just obsessed,

You say you need some space,
from this place, from my face,
so you're gonna leave this town,
said you're bound, for beaches now,
but while you're way out there,
without a care, I hope you're aware,
that while you were so far away,
I tried to say, I'm sorry,

This comes,
straight from,
the vacant lot in my chest,
the spot where my heart used to rest,
since you left,
I've been a mess,
and I must confess,
that I still get depressed,
maybe I'm just obsessed,
but baby you are my everything,
without'chya I can't do anything,
so why'd you have to go and take it all away,
yesterday I heard you say,
that you were leavin' me,
then you walked away,
left me to say that I'm sorry,

This comes,
straight from,
the vacant lot in my chest,
the spot where my heart used to rest,
since you left,
I've been a mess,
and I must confess,
that I still get depressed,
maybe I'm just obsessed,
but baby you are my everything,
without'chya I can't do anything,
so why'd you have to go and take it all away,
yesterday I heard you say,
that you were leavin' me,
then you walked away,
left me to say,
left me to say,
you left me to say that I'm sorry...
