I have a prayer,
Won't you please listen for a while?
I have this simplest wish that I'd want to ask
For those who makes me smile
They are loving and caring
They are always supportive of me
They give me their utmost best in everything
For me to be happy
Please dear God,
Protect my parents,
Make them always fit and strong
Please give them your guidance,
That they may teach me right from wrong.
I thank you dear Lord for everything
That has kept a smile on my face
I feel the depth and warmth of your love
In the suns brilliant rays
I hear your laughter and joy in the breeze,
In the open air when we play
I can see your kindness in every flower,
Every tree signifies your blessings,
The crickets and the birds are proofs of your generosity.
The testament of your kindness is shown in nature's beauty.
I thank you dear Lord for your unconditional love,
For everything that I see
Please be assured that I love you in return
Just as much as you love me
I hope that you keep in mind
This simple prayer of mine
